The White Bus AKA Red White and Zero

(1966, Anthony Hopkins, dir Lindsay Anderson)

Oddly compelling, shot mostly in black and white, but with some sequences in colour. A young woman quits her job in London (cue shots of London traffic): whiteb01.jpg whiteb02.jpg She goes home to Manchester, where she catches the White Bus and goes on a tour of the city. The bus itself is Crosville DLG813 (XFM225), a 1956 Bristol Lodekka LD6G with Eastern Coachworks convertible open top body:

The angled advertising panels are shown off well here, and notice that although 'Private X' is displayed on the front,'M36' is still wound up at the back:
