Visit of RMS Caronia to Bangor

(Northern Ireland Tourist Board, 1955)

The RMS Caronia - nicknamed 'The Green Goddess' - was a Cunard White Star vessel and, ostensibly, a cruising ship. This footage details the events of July 29, 1955, when it visited Bangor. Passengers disembark to be ferried away by Ulster Transport Authority bus to explore Northern Ireland.
Four Ulster Transport Authority Leyland Royal Tiger PSU1/11s with UTA bodies are seen transporting passengers to and from dockside. Three of them are G8958/7893 (OZ831/51/66):
