Big City (April 1963)
Narrated by Ed Bishop, this film looks at London. An opening sequence leads into a view of an AEC Routemaster and a roofbox AEC RT on a roundabout. Overhead trolleybus wires are visible, and as a second RT appears, a coach passes on the flyover behind:
There is much footage of traffic in Central London including a Routemaster on route 276, and an RT on route 53
This RT is seen in Park Lane:
A BOAC Bedford SB and a London Country RF are glimpsed passing the Royal Albert Hall; in the City RTLs pass each other on route 6 and 6A:
Another RTL passes St Paul's Cathedral:
….and a London Country RT rounds Trafalgar Square:

Little of interest for the bus enthusiast here; this Bedford OB is barely seen!
….but there are plenty of seaside views, and a brief cameo by singing star Petula Clark and her car, registration PET1:
The English Riviera (April 1958)
A view of central Torquay with several AEC Regent IIIs of Devon General:
Actor James Robertson Justice waits to start Torquay's annual Waiters' Race while a Guy Arab passes behind:
A Grey Cars halfcab coach moves along the promenade:
In Glorious Devon (December 1958)
Features an excursion by Grey Cars XTA846, a Beadle-Commer TS3:
The Plymouth Sound (February 1971)
Has some distant shots of Plymouth's extensive fleet of Leyland Atlanteans:
The Quay To The Tor (November 1964)
This tour through Devon has several scenes of interest. Early in the show we see a Plymouth Leyland Atlantean:
A lowbridge Western National Bristol K/Eastern Coachworks waits at Dartmouth Railway Station, while another approaches:
More Atlanteans appear, this time in Torquay operating for Devon General:
this makes an interesting comparison with the earlier 'The English Riviera' (qv):
Not all Torquay's buses were Atlanteans, however, this is an AEC Regent V:
….and an extraordinary sight - among the Atlanteans is Guy Arab V/Strachan demonstrator 888DUK:

Down Somerset Way (November 1957)
This Bristol Omnibus Bristol K with lowbridge Eastern Coachworks body is seen on a roundabout in Weston super Mare:
A forerunner of the modern Dotto Landtrains plies its trade on Weston's pier?
A Bristol Omnibus Bristol L/Eastern Coachworks moves away from the camera:
A view of Cheddar Gorge looks down on the coaches parked 500 feet below:
Playground Spectacular (September 1960)
Much of interest in this look at the attractions of Blackpool. Two Ribble doubledeckers, likely Leyland Titans, pass the camera, while a convoy of coaches approaches:
This appears to be a Bedford SB, operator unknown:
Then there are the trams!
Blackpool Corporation buses: these streamlined Leyland Titan PD2/5s unique to Blackpool had centre entrance Burlingham bodies. In the second scene the bus is waiting for a troupe of circus elephants to cross the road:
Later Titans also had full-fronted bodies - this is 341 (PFR341), followed by a distinctive red/cream coach:

Two fleeting glimpses of Eastern Counties doubledeckers in Norwich, but this look at Norfolk is more interesting for its stately homes and rural views:

A film about the Isle of Wight. Seen here is a Bristol L of Southern Vectis:
The commentary makes much of the use of 'Vectis' in a number of island-based business names. Among others the 'Southern Vectis' name is shown on the side of a bus:
